The Guidelines on Process and Content of Legislation is a guide to making good legislation. The Guidelines are intended to be used as an aid to government officials faced with the task of producing legislation. They identify and address the many issues that can arise during the legislative development process. The desired end result is high quality legislation.

For the first time, the website provides the functionality to navigate the Guidelines online, as well as downloading the entire document or individual chapters. 

The edition contains all amendments made to the Guidelines since 2001.
